Executive Director / Principal

An experienced restorative services and operational management leader skilled in enhancing program effectiveness and leading strategic expansions across governmental, non-profit, and educational sectors. Barbie is eager to leverage her 25 years of experience in fostering rehabilitative and educational initiatives that support youth, adults, and their families. She is committed to driving significant social impact through transformative strategies aligned with federal and state regulations.

Barbie Fischer has assisted in organizational development where her creativity has led to the success of innovative and strategic programming for various non-profits, private companies, and government agencies. Her experience includes program management, strategic communication and marketing, risk management, conflict coaching, and training development. Her work in restorative re-entry led to her invitation to sit on the Pennsylvania Re-entry Council developed by then Governor Tom Wolf and Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

Her passion is in restorative and transformative justice, building strong communities focused on health and healing. This has led her to work state side with abuse survivors, organizations focused on prevention of abuse and how to handle situations well when abuse happens. She is a Certified Trainer with Faith Trust Institute, a Facilitator with SNAP (Survivors Network for those Abuses by Priests) and Board Member of MAP (Mennonite Abuse Prevention List). She has also developed restorative re-entry programs for organizations working with veterans returning to civilian life, incarcerated people, focusing on bringing support to the incarcerated person, the victim, and their families during the release process. In addition, she has developed reintegration programs for former child soldiers that have been utilized in northern Uganda and in Sri Lanka.

To add to this work she is an experienced advocate for many social justice issues and a sought after presenter.
