Change for the Better

Rooted in the values and principles of restorative justice. Restorative Encounters and our partners offer high quality, engaging, experiential trainings and workshops on a variety of topic. All customized to your needs.

The team at Restorative Encounter has developed and delivered trainings and workshops on:

  • Change Management - how to walk through change in a way that mitigates risk and involves all stakeholders in effective ways.

  • Circle Process Facilitation - a modality used throughout cultures and time to provide space for equitable sharing and sometimes decision making.

  • Restorative Re-entry - a model that builds support for those returning to the community from prison, from time in a recovery home, or from active duty military service.

  • Restorative Conferencing and Dialogues - how to facilitate conversations between those harmed and those who caused harm, from minor crimes to acts of severe violence, including the use of surrogates.

  • Restorative practices training and cultural shifts - what does it mean to be a restorative organization or school? Components, considerations, and implementation.

  • Restorative Responses to Sexual Violence.

  • Restorative Justice & Trauma Awareness.

  • Arts & Peacebuilding.

Past Projects:

"Working with Restorative Encounters has been critical in building the skills and expertise needed for our organization to thrive. The trainings we have received have been life-changing, both for our staff and for community members who have had to opportunity to engage. Using what we have learned about circle dialogue and transformative practices has helped to shape our organization and set us on a trajectory to do some amazing healing work in our community." - Delaware Pacem in Terris
